We first contacted her about four months before the big day (aka super last minute) and she immediately got to work turning our vision into a reality. My husband is Puerto Rican while I'm American, so we wanted our wedding to include elements from both of our cultures, and be special for both locals and foreigners alike. We simply shared our ideas with Damaris, and she did the rest of the work!
On our wedding night, we were left speechless by the magic that Damaris created. Everything was top notch; from the entertainment to the decor to the videography/photography, there was not a single detail that we would have changed. She also did a beautiful job at making sure everything flowed seamlessly, and that we (and our guests) were enjoying ourselves from beginning to end. Our friends and family are still talking about how this was one of the best nights of their lives!
Overall, hiring Damaris was easily one of the best decisions we made during the wedding process. She is worth every penny. JUST HIRE HER! Damaris is an amazing wedding planner. I am from Puerto Rico, but living in the United States and trying to plan a wedding remotely was proving to be very difficult. From my first call with her I could tell that she knew her stuff! Damaris guided me through the entire process, from selecting amazing vendors, inspiration for the wedding decoration, facetiming during my wedding gown selection, doing the venue check, food / cake tasting, going through the music selection, recommendations on the wedding timeline, ideas on props and wedding favors - you name it, she did it. Best wedding planner!! We don’t even know where to start! Having a destination wedding was so nerve racking because you don’t know anyone there and MUST work with someone you trust. You are trusting every detail of the biggest day of your life in the hands of one person and that is very scary. However, Damaris made us feel confident she had it all under control from day one. We had scheduled calls with a few planners in PR and some postponed last minute or were late and Damaris was the only one who respected our time and made a great first impression! From the get go she made us feel like our wedding was her priority and made sure we knew what was going on behind the scenes. She made sure every detail and every vendor we hired was perfect. She advocated for us and what we wanted and always demonstrated she had our best interest in mind. Damaris went above and beyond for us, our family, our guests, and even our fur babies that were a part of the big day.
